GasGirls appoint new Development Team Manager before storming to 9-0 victory


Bristol Rovers Women's FC have appointed a new Development Team manager as both the First Team and the Development team continue their build up to the new season.


Martin Paul will combine the role with his duties as Head Coach at the Tyrone Mings Academy. In the full statement which you can read here, Rovers said of Paul's background:


"Martin Paul is a qualified UEFA A Licence coach with over 10 years of experience in football. Martin featured for Bristol Rovers 22 times during his playing career from 1993-1996 and will look to pass on his knowledge of the professional game to our development players.


Paul is a passionate advocate for women's football and is committed to developing the next generation of players.


He is a highly motivated and driven individual who is always looking for ways to improve."


Meanwhile, the Rovers Women's First Team continued their build up on Sunday by setting Lockleaze ablaze with a 9-0 demolition of Bath City.
