This morning Bristol Live put clarity behind online rumours which started yesterday when eagle-eyed and savvy Gasheads noticed a change in the shares structure of our owners, Dwane Sports.

Hussain Al Saeed is said to be the new majority stakeholder in Dwane Sports after the company opened up avenues for it to receive new investment. The purchase will see Al Saeed become a co-owner of Dwane Sports taking a controlling 55% stake. According to Bristol Live the agreement will see Wael Al Qadi remain in his post as President of the Football Club.
There's very little information available about Hussain Al Saeed other than via his own LinkedIn profile, and photo's found on Google. His publicly available LinkedIn profile says he's studied at various Universities including for a Master of Business Administration at Strathclyde University; and Leadership and Management at the University of York.
Mr Al Saeed has extensive experience in the banking industry. And has diverse skills including in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Strategic Planning, Financial Analysis and Budgeting.
It's not known if the new owner has any specific football history.
Going by previous moments in time when big changes have happened, we should probably expect a public letter to Gasheads from Wael in coming days and weeks.
The deal will be subject to EFL approval which Bristol Live reports will be later this month.
