As if club President Wael Al Qadi wasn't content enough being the talk of the town for the last two days, it seems he was unable to contain his excitement today.
Earlier today our President quickly deleted an instagram post he had shared which appeared to show someone on a face time call with Connor Taylor. The post was captioned "When you don't succeed at first , try and try
and try again ! UTG ! welcome home @__connortaylor".
But when GasBurner checked back a few minutes later, the post had been deleted.
At around the same time Bristol Live had published an article reporting that Taylor was set for a medical at Rovers in the next 24 hours.
Connor Taylor has been top of Gasheads wishlist ever since he returned to his parent club after his fruitful spell with us in our League 2 promotion winning campaign in 21/22.
Taylor played 47 times on loan at the Gas in all competitions, scoring 3 times. Should taylor return he could be set to reunite with James Connolly which proved to be a formidable partnership in that promotion winning campaign.
