Rovers tonight confirmed the permanant signing of cult hero Connor Taylor on a 3-year deal.

With their usual playful tease Rovers hinted they were settling in for the evening with an 'evening Gasheads' Before a gif clipped from Harry Potter, followed by a silhouette image, indicated Taylors return.

Connor returns after being instrumental in our League 2 automatic promotion campaign in 2021-22. His partnership with James Connolly proved formidable for attackers in that season and Gasheads will be hoping the two combine well again to help Rovers block out League 1 attacks.

It's reported the fee is between £270,000 and £300,000, falling just short of the £370,000 record transfee paid for Andy Tillson to QPR in 1992
